DAY 01 - COLOMBO (One Night)

On your arrival in Colombo, stay the first night of your two weeks holiday in Sri Lanka in a simple countryside small hotel in the village of Kammala, just 30 minutes south of Colombo International Airport. Have a relaxing evening at the hotel or take some leisure strolls in the locale or even cycle to nearby beach before starting your two weeks long holiday in Sri Lanka.

DAY 02, 03 & 04 - KANDY (Three Nights)

Kandy, the most venerated and most visited town of Sri Lanka is where Lord Buddha's Tooth Relic now calls home at Kandy's Royal Palace, also know as Temple of Tooth. You will be staying three nights in a very scenic and boutique tea estate lodge in the outskirts of Kandy. So, on your way there, pay a visit to Kandy's Temple of Tooth Relic to witness some centuries old pilgrimage rituals of Buddhists in the Island.

During your stay in the Tea estate lodge, you may venture out for trekking trails in the Knuckles mountains and also explore the Tea gardens and factory for a tea tasting experience when not lounging by the pool with jaw dropping views. If you fancy fishing, a fresh water stream is just 30 minutes' drive from the lodge.

DAY 05, 06, 07 - SIGIRIYA (Three Nights)

You are at the heart of Sri Lanka's cultural triangle for three nights staying in a small independent hotel situated very close to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. No holiday to Sri Lanka is complete without visiting the cultural triangle, so explore Sri Lanka's most important heritage sites such as Dambulla Cave Temple and Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

We offer you an authentic experience of a guided bird watching and local wildlife sighting walk in the back roads of Sigiriya and Habarana area. The area below the rock fortress is a protected nature reserve where you could observe rich bird life with resident and endemic birds. Nature walk in the Habarana area will allow you to observe wildlife such as Water Buffaloes, Birds, Crocodiles and even occasional Elephant encounters. That is not all, witness the agricultural work in the area where people work in the paddy fields and how they protect their crops from invading wild species. At the end of the nature trail and bird watching, enjoy a home cooked lunch at a typical village home.

In an afternoon, climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress to witness the great architectural marvels of ancient Sri Lanka by exploring the water gardens and ruined fortress at the summit of Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Mornings or late afternoons are good to explore Dambulla temple which has five caves and nearly 150 statues of the Buddha, many paintings on the ceilings and walls that emphasis the artistic talent of ancient days. The history of the caves, rock and temple dates from the 1st century BC.

Not to forget an afternoon jeep safari in Minneriya National Park to see Elephants in the wild in large herds. During the months of July and August. Minneriya National Park hosts a natural phenomenon of largest Elephant Gathering in Asia where you would be able to see 200 to 300 Elephants at once.

DAY 08, 09, 10 - TRINCOMALEE (Three Nights)

We then head to Nilaveli beach in Trincomalee for three nights staying in a prime beach resort for the beach getaway of your tour in Sri Lanka, the best beach in the east coast of Sri Lanka is an ideal place to relax by the beach/pool and do some snorkeling in the Pigeon Island Marine Sanctuary to explore the underwater life. Not only that, we could also arrange you a sunset cruise in a catamaran where you could enjoy some water sports such as stand-up-paddle boating before witnessing the sunset.

Try the various local eateries on the beach for great local Seafood cuisine for lunch and dinners. If you would like to venture of out of the beach, pay a visit to Koneswaram Hindu Temple to observe the rituals of Hindu devotees.

DAY 11, 12 - WILPATTU NATIONAL PARK (Two Nights)

Explore the ruined temples and palaces of ancient Kingdom of Anuradhapura where you would be able to witness Buddhist pilgrimage rituals as they pay tribute to Lord Buddha. Anuradhapura, once the capitol of Sri Lanka during the King's days. On day two, take a guided full day safari in Wilpattu National Park with picnic meals in search of Leopards, Bears and birds. Wilpattu National Park is the largest national park in Sri Lanka and is a very important eco system to explore during your tour in Sri Lanka. You will be staying two nights in a small safari lodge near Wilpattu National Park.

DAY 13 - NEGOMBO (Three Nights)

You will be spending the last night of your holiday in Sri Lanka in Negombo, in a simple countryside small hotel in the village of Kammala, just 30 minutes south of Colombo International Airport. Have a relaxed evening at the hotel in preparation of the flight back home next day.

DAY 14 - DEPARTURE (One Night)

Say good bye and make your way to Colombo International Airport to fly back home after an authentic holiday in this miracle Island, Sri Lanka.
