DAY 01 - NEAR NEGOMBO (One Night)
On your arrival in Colombo, stay the first night of your one week holiday in Sri Lanka in a simple countryside small hotel in the village of Kammala, just 30 minutes south of Colombo International Airport. Have a relaxing evening at the hotel or take some leisure strolls in the locale or even cycle to nearby beach before starting your one week long holiday in Sri Lanka.
DAY 02 & 03- WILPATTU (Two Nights)
Cycle in Anuradhapura to explore the ruined temples and palaces of ancient Kingdom of Anuradhapura where you would be bale to witness Buddhist pilgrimage rituals as they pay tribute to Lord Buddha. On day two, take a guided full day safari in Wilpattu National Park with picnic meals in search of Leopards, Bears and birds. Wilpattu National Park is the largest national park in Sri Lanka and is a very important eco system to explore during your tour in Sri Lanka. You will be staying two nights in a simple safari lodge near Wilpattu National Park.
DAY 04 & 05 - HABARANA (Two Night)
Stay two nights in a small eco and nature hotel in Habarana, a convenient base to explore the attractions of Dambulla and Sigiriya area. On your way to Habarana, explore the strict natural reserve and ancient monastery of Ritigala, not so touristic, yet an interesting place with historical and nature values. Ritigala is an ideal place for bird watchers.
Spend some relaxing time chilling out by the pool in the morning. In the afternoon cycle to Sigiriya Rock Fortress with a villager across the rural villages surrounding Sigiriya Rock Fortress exploring the farming fields, interacting with friendly locals, irrigation lakes and small boutiques. Arriving at the base of the rock fortress, you could climb to the summit of the rock where King Kassapa's ruined place is situated. Sigiriya, is a must visit place during any tour to Sri Lanka.
DAY 06 - COLOMBO (One Night)
After breakfast, on the way to Colombo, visit and explore Dambulla Cave Temple, an important cultural and historical heritage site. Arriving in Colombo, resort to a boutique hotel in Colombo for the last night in Sri Lanka during your holiday in Sri Lanka.
DAY 07 - DEPARTURE (One Night)
Say good bye and make your way to Colombo International Airport to fly back home after an authentic holiday in this miracle Island, Sri Lanka.
